Day Two Hundred Eighty-Eight: Celebrating Argentina's Independence Day
We were fortunate to be here for a national holiday, which, as far as we can tell, is akin to Independence Day. Many businesses and all schools, including Jeff's Spanish school, were closed, so we joined in the festivities at one of the major plazas. We heard some speeches and patriotic music and enjoyed some yummy foods and fun entertainment. And we appreciated how similar people are regardless of where they are from.
