Ruth was planning to get together with her friends tonight not far from where her cross country meet will be held tomorrow. So, rather than make the trip today and tomorrow, we decided to just stay overnight in McKinney, which is a place we have never spent the night.
While Ruth was out with her friends, the rest of us had dinner at a new-to-us, local BBQ place (Hutchins), which was full of atmosphere and delicious food. It has turned into a fun mini vacation and a good way to work in a couple of firsts!
